# Housing Executive Assistant > A housing assistant for England: it explains council letters, tracks where a > case is up to, and drafts what to send — grounded in English housing law and > the published policy of the user's council. Two audiences share one app: > residents facing homelessness or a housing problem, and the council housing > officers handling those cases. Currently a private beta. Operated in the United Kingdom. Documents, records and transcripts stay on UK infrastructure and are never used to train models. Names and postcodes are replaced with anonymous tokens before any text reaches a model provider. **This is information, not legal advice.** Answers can be wrong and must be checked against the letter in the reader's hand or with an adviser. For a review or court deadline, a solicitor or a free adviser (Shelter, Citizens Advice, a law centre) is the right route — legal aid covers homelessness reviews for most people on a low income. ## Pages - [Terms of use](https://assistant.nexus-core.cloud/terms): beta terms — what the service is and is not, data handling, recording, fair use. - [Terms of use, markdown](https://assistant.nexus-core.cloud/terms.md): the same text, plain. - [The app](https://assistant.nexus-core.cloud/): the assistant itself. Installable as a PWA; a signed-out visitor gets a limited free taster. ## What it can do - Explain a letter — a resident pastes or attaches a s184 decision, a s21 notice, a review outcome, and gets it in plain English with what happens next. - Keep a dated evidence log — moves, calls, letters, repairs, meetings — which is what reviews and complaints actually turn on. Exportable in one tap. - Hold files and voice notes on the device; dictation is transcribed on our own UK server and the audio is then discarded. - For officers: a structured homelessness gateway, drafting grounded in the council's own scheme, and a searchable document library. ## For agents - [MCP endpoint](https://assistant.nexus-core.cloud/mcp): JSON-RPC 2.0 over HTTP, no authentication, rate-limited per IP. Tools: `search_housing_law` (grounded retrieval over published English housing law and statutory guidance), `list_councils`, `get_terms`. - [Discovery](https://assistant.nexus-core.cloud/.well-known/mcp.json): endpoint, protocol version and tool names. - [Skill description](https://assistant.nexus-core.cloud/skill.md): when to use this, what it will not do, and the rules that must travel with anything you pass on — deadlines first, free advice routes named, never tell someone to leave their home. Nothing a person owns is reachable through any of that: no records, no uploads, no accounts, no council case material. Only national published law. ## Interface notes for agents - HTTP API on the same origin as the app. `GET /health` returns `{"status":"ok","version":""}` and needs no authentication. - Everything else requires a bearer token from `POST /auth/login`, except a rate-limited anonymous `POST /chat` taster. - There is no public API programme during beta, and no route that exposes another person's records: every data path is scoped to the authenticated account. - Please do not scrape the chat endpoint. It costs real money per call and the daily limits exist to keep the service available to households using it. ## Contact This is a private beta run by Nexus Core. Access is by invitation while data-protection registration completes.
